Our main rapier training is La verdadera destreza (Spanish Rapier) following Ton Puey’s school Academia da Espada.

We have also sometimes other students or instructors in our school who studied Italian or mixed schools abroad, and we exchange all sorts of workshops. Our name comes from the Galician translation of Gérard Thibault d’Anvers’ fencing book “Academie de l’Espée” (1630) and means something like Academy of the Sword. Also as the only Belgian master who left us a very nice book, we want to study some more Thibault also.
